With this song, I started with a certain feel that I wanted. I actually mostly wrote a song while I was recording it. And it took many tracks recorded over and over until I found something I liked. My guide dog had passed away. He was going on 11, developed an aggressive cancer, and then it all happened too fast. The lyrics are for him.
