Having raised some kids, and as much as I cherish their experiences now, I still get kind of melancholy thinking about them as little kids. I liked them that way. It’s fine if they grow up, but kids are pretty cool.
So this is a song, probably a country song, that is kind of generic. It could be a father, a mother, a grandparent, any of these reflecting back on how they did the best they could.
The acoustic guitars hold the song down. The lead guitar is a Telecaster. I enjoyed putting this mellow musical arrangement together.
The song is available on all streaming services, and if you do not have a music service, you can access the song on YouTube: https://youtu.be/JXrL4AD-VGY
