I’ve heard many people say they’ve thought about fleeing the United States right now. I can understand that. Our country has taken an alarming turn. Anyway, it brought to mind two ways of looking at fleeing the country. One might be to get out before it becomes worse and it becomes more difficult to emigrate. The other point of view might be that it’s important to stay and resist in any reasonable way that you can. 

For me, this would be trying to make the grass greener in my own community through volunteer work. So the song represents just one way of looking at this. 

It was a fun song to put together, although it took a long time.
