I really like some of the atmospheric music that has been going on since the 70s. I like to mix that kind of feel with guitar, as I have done in a number of songs, including this one and Friends/Parade. Anyway, I recently read a book set in the ruins of ancient London, set in Londinium, the Roman name for London. It was an eerie setting and I try to capture at least my sense of it in the music.

I recorded many tracks for this song. Since I cannot, with blindness, use a computer interface skillfully and quickly enough for recording, all of the synthesizer tracks were recorded live, and then mixed together later.
