This is kind of a different song for me. Someone told me it reminded them of a bouncy little Tin Pan Alley song from the late 1950s. That wasn’t necessarily my goal, but I take that as a compliment. I think of it more as an upbeat, lounge lizard type song with wry lyrics. The narrator in the song is a guy who has misread a situation, not an uncommon theme for my music!
