I wrote this song for the More-Tishans, a Stillwater, Minnesota band that was a big hit in the Twin Cities in the 1960s and even had a hit song on the radio. This band was inducted into the Mid-America Music Hall of Fame in 2008. I joined them as the lead guitarist for that event and have been a band member with them ever since, and wrote this song for them just a couple of years ago.

Living in a small town and being in a band with deep local roots, you can’t help but be conscious of all the changes that have happened. The dedicated fan base for this band still talks about the good old days, but there is nothing unusual about that! The More-Tishans band members and the fans are great people.
